COURSE DESCRIPTION
Our BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management is designed to provide you with a wide range of leadership and management knowledge and skills in areas such as problem solving, critical thinking, developing business and operational plans, people management and organisational digital strategy.
In this course, you will gain practical knowledge and skills that are necessary for you to develop and implement business and strategic plans, to identify and implement new ideas to create improvements in an organisation, to manage a business responsibly and enable effective communications in the workplace.
Every student will need to demonstrate:
o having IELTS 5.5 English language equivalence if a non-native English speaker
o being aged over 18
o having completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions) or
o having two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational leadership role in an enterprise.
During this course, students will develop the skills and knowledge needed to oversee the work of others and provide strategic leadership in roles such as area, departmental or regional managers, CEOs and senior executives.
On completion of the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management, students may choose to study the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business at WIN College or gain advanced standing in any bachelor’s degree at Wentworth Institute of Higher Education.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING & RECOGNITION OF CURRENT COMPETENCY
Recognition is available (on application) to students with prior skills, experience, knowledge or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training, in a related area. Recognition may reduce the duration of your studies.
