The FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping is both useful and practical for it will provide you with an understanding of business, financial and accounting practice to enable you to gain employment in the business, financial and accounting industry. Job roles may include working in the accounting industry, including BAS Agents and contract bookkeepers; and performing bookkeeping tasks for organisations in a range of industries. You will be provided relevant information, case studies, discussions and assessments to enable you to be able to apply your skills to work in varied roles such as a bookkeeper, accounts clerk, trainee accountant or payroll clerk.
In order to gain entry into this course, the potential student must:
● Be 18 years of age or over
● Have satisfactorily completed Year 11 in the Australian High School (or equivalent), and
● Have an IELTS band score of minimum 5.5 or TOEFL 500 (or equivalent)
Applicants preferably have completed any Certificate FNS qualification or other relevant Certificate or demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments in financial services roles, including planner or analyst.
After achieving the FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, students may undertake a range of Diploma level qualifications within the FNS Financial Services Training Package or other Training Packages.
