COURSE DESCRIPTION
FNS51820 Diploma of Financial services is designed to provide a general-purpose pathway into the financial services industry. It is also intended to provide an effective development option for those candidates for whom the specialist qualification pathways in the Financial Services Training Package are not yet appropriate. Individuals in these roles apply solutions to a range of often complex problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They apply initiative to plan, coordinate and evaluate their own work and provide guidance to others or teams within defined guidelines.
The specific course entry requirements are (for example, LLN, technology skills or pre-requisite qualifications):
English Language/Literacy/Numeracy requirements.
IELTS band score of 5.5 or TOEFL 500 or equivalent
Specific Course Entry Requirements
Be 18 years of age or over
Have satisfactorily completed the year Australian 11 (or equivalent) with sound literacy and numeracy skills
It is preferred that students have completed any Certificate FNS qualification or other relevant Certificate or demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments in financial services roles, including planner or analyst.
