WIN College story

WIN College was established in 2005 to meet the demand from international students who wanted to further their studies in Australia. It began with an initial suite of courses in General English and 5 business management and accounting courses before expanding so that today we can offer 20 courses in diverse fields from Certificate II to Advanced Diploma plus 3 different English language courses.

We have primarily offered students practical, skills-based courses, in contrast to learning that focusses on ideas and theories. As a result we have developed a strong vocational education system over the years that aims to have our students familiar with the Australian workplace and to learn techniques and gain expertise that will make them readily employable. Our training provides direct knowledge and hands-on, job-specific instruction.

Our training staff care about the success of every student and they work tirelessly to make the course interesting, pertinent and attainable. We can offer you additional learning support and the opportunity to resubmit your assessment for review and marking 3 times without any charge to you (if you attend regularly but have failed to receive a grade of Competent for your assessment).

In the 18 years since we began we have tried to keep our courses relevant to the needs of our students and to offer suitable skills and knowledge for meaningful involvement in the workplace. Our training can be a desirable option for individuals entering a highly technical or hands-on field, as well as for those who wish to develop new skills.

Our training is designed to make students “work ready” upon graduation. We provide practical education, so students develop specific industry skills that allow them to go directly into their profession and get started. A key feature of our training is that students are provided not only with a complete understanding of concepts in their field but also how to carry out the duties of their trade.

We are pleased when employers of our students comment on the level of skills our students have attained for this means the employer can readily have them working in their fields without extensive additional (and costly) training.
