Course Description

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform advanced diagnostic operations in the automotive retail, service and repair environment. It is suitable for those working in the automotive service and repair industry at the forefront of the implementation of new technologies who will learn how to diagnose live faults in a real-world environment, to conduct repairs on a wide range of current vehicles, to work on modern automotive technology from the last ten years, to start your own business or to continue your studies and enhance your career opportunities.

Entry Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Meet the following education requirements:
  • Year 12 or equivalent; or
  • a Certificate III qualification or equivalent or above.
  • Training and assessments are conducted in English. Applicants must possess sound written and spoken English skills equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
