Course Description

Our BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, practical skills, and experience necessary for leadership and management roles across various enterprise and industry settings.

 

This qualification has a focus on practical application with learners developing the ability to demonstrate initiative and sound judgement in planning, organising, implementing, and monitoring both their own workload and that of their teams.

 

Communication skills are emphasised as a critical tool for supporting individuals and teams in meeting organisational or enterprise requirements. Learners are empowered to effectively communicate goals, expectations, and feedback, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

 

Individuals at this level are equipped to plan, design, apply, and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, drawing upon their analytical skills and ability to synthesise information from diverse sources.

Entry Requirements

Every student will need to demonstrate:

  • Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent
  • Attaining IELTS 6.0 English language equivalence if a non-native English speaker.

    Please be advised that the Pearson Test of English (PTE) will no longer be recognised as an acceptable measure of a student's English proficiency.

Further Studies

On completion of the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management , students may pursue the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management at WIN College or gain advanced standing in an undergraduate degree at Wentworth Institute of Higher Education.
