At WIN College we offer a rich English-speaking environment for our General English courses. As a result, you will improve your language skills and your confidence in using English in everyday situations will be enhanced. Whether you're looking to develop your communication skills for work, social interactions, or further academic pursuits, our course will meet your needs.

Our experienced and dedicated teachers are committed to providing you with engaging lessons, interactive activities, and personalised attention so that we can help you to achieve your language goals effectively and efficiently.

You will study a different topic each week (e.g. likes and dislikes) and will improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills by learning about and discussing that topic. At the same time, you will focus on a particular grammar item each week (e.g. comparative adjectives) and will practise this structure so that your writing and speaking skills will be improved.

As you study you will focus on different aspects of English pronunciation and will improve your speaking and listening skills by becoming familiar with different accents.

Key features of our General English course include:

  1. Comprehensive Curriculum: Our curriculum covers all aspects of language learning, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You'll develop a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while also improving your practical communication skills.
  2. Flexible Study Options: We understand that our students have busy schedules, which is why we offer flexible study options. Choose from either daytime or evening classes, so that you can balance your studies with other commitments.
  3. Small Class Sizes: To ensure personalised attention and maximum interaction, we keep our class sizes small. This creates a supportive learning environment where you can receive feedback from your teacher and engage with your peers.
  4. Real-Life Applications: Our courses are designed to provide you with the language skills needed for real-life situations. Through role-plays, discussions, and interactive tasks, you'll practise using English in a variety of contexts, from ordering food at a restaurant to participating in meetings.
  5. Experienced Teachers: Our team of experienced teachers are not only experts in language teaching but also passionate about helping you succeed. They will guide you through your language journey, providing support and encouragement every step of the way. Many of our teachers have come from overseas environments so they can relate to you with the difficulties in learning a new language in a new cultural environment.
  6. Progress Monitoring: We believe in tracking your progress to ensure that you're meeting your language goals. Through regular assessments and feedback sessions, we'll help you identify areas for improvement, and we will be able to verify your achievements. All classes do a quiz at the end of each unit to check that its content has been learned. Each month we will conduct proficiency tests to check the progress of our students. Students who perform well will be promoted to the next level. Other tasks such as presentations in class may also contribute to assessment. You receive a progress report with assessment scores and teacher feedback after each monthly progress test.
