Course Description

The ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security) provides high level information and communications technology (ICT), process improvement and business skills and knowledge to enable an individual to be effective in senior ICT roles within organisations. The qualification builds on a base core of management competencies, with specialist and general elective choices to suit the development, monitoring and carrying out of technical support functions for telecommunications networks and for installing computer equipment and computer systems.

ANZSCO state that the Advanced Diploma level qualification is sufficient to meet the requirements for ANZSCO Skill Level 2.

Entry Requirements

Every student will need to demonstrate:

  • Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent
  • Attaining IELTS 6.0 English language equivalence if a non-native English speaker.

    Please be advised that the Pearson Test of English (PTE) will no longer be recognised as an acceptable measure of a student's English proficiency.

  • Being aged over 18
  • It is preferred that students have completed the ICT50120 Diploma of Information Technology (or equivalent).
